W 34 / The Other’s Share – Access all areas

Open workshop and premiere of a short dance film by Mireille Solomon & coll.
Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 6:30pm
Sdílený ateliér, Na Spravedlnosti 1533, Pardubice
AAA (access all areas) is an transdisciplinary project initiated by Mireille Solomon at the intersection of architecture, dance and film.
The evening invites participants into an exploration of space, dance and perception at the Sdílený ateliér.
During her residency, the artist collaborated with the dancers Barbora Ptáčková and Ester Hrubá as with the videographer Marie Matula Sieber to investigate how both the body and the camera can bring attention to the visible and invisible characteristics of this unique location.
Program begins with an introduction to AAA and the specific method employed to create site-responsive art, followed by a short, interactive session. After a guided introduction, the guests will be given a creative task to help them explore the atelier space collectively. This may involve attentive observation, simple movement exercises or mapping features, with the aim of eliciting personal and collective interpretations of the space.
Subsequently, the result of the artist’s residency – a video documenting the dance-based investigation – will be screened for all. The video showcases the artists' exploration of the atelier, unveiling its layers through nuanced movement and the camera's lens. It offers a new perspective on the site's atmosphere and significance.
Throughout the evening, the focus remains on interactive discovery: participants are encouraged to observe, interact, and reflect on how both movement and mediated images can transform their understanding of space.
- In the past, Mireille Solomon has designed and realized buildings as an architect. In her work as a lighting designer, she has illuminated spaces, squares and exhibitions as well as dance performances. Today, she focuses on interior, furniture, and lighting design. Her second passion is contemporary dance, which she has been practicing as an advanced dancer for more than 20 years. She has also participated in various professional workshops, including Viewpoints with Martin Carnevali, Joy of Making Choreography with Reut Shemesh, Axis Syllabus with Kira Kirch & Antoine Ragot. To satisfy her curiosity about dance in film, she also took part in film choreography workshops with Sarah Moeller and Yoshiko Chuma. In her own productions, she combines her passion for the built and movement. She performed her first multimedia dance piece in September 2024 in Mannheim. Further stages in Biella (Italy) and Pardubice (Czech Republic) followed in 2025.
