AiR 2026 / Darina Molatová
The residency project by sculptor Darina Molatová explores spatial situations and the boundaries between private and public, negative and positive, loss and absence.

The November resident of the OFFCITY AiR programme was Eszter Koncz. Eszter studied visual arts and scenography, currently she attends an international study program – Directing of Devised and Object Theater at the Prague DAMU. Eszter works in the fields of intermedia, installation and performance.
The October guest of the OFFCITY residency program was a photographer Tereza Bonaventurová. In her work, she has been concerned with the investigation of public space, its visual aspect and its influence on the quality of life. Her residence in Pardubice was focused on reading the public space.
Through this year's residency programme, we would like to support 3–5 artists or theorists. Selected residents will receive a fee of CZK 10,000, a budget up to CZK 5,000 to cover material or technical costs, a residential studio for 1–2 weeks. Deadline for applications is August 10, 2022.
OFFCITY responded to the current situation in Ukraine and, through the Art-in-res platform, it offered its residential space and modest support to artists and theorists fleeing Ukraine. Alexandra Alissa Novitchkova, a political scientist and human rights activist, has become our guest.
Guests of the OFFCITY AiR program in December 2021 was the Italian-American Passepartout Duo – collaboration of pianist Nicoletta Favari and percussionist Christopher Salvito.
Michal Kindernay, Czech audiovisual artist, was a guest of our OFFCITY residency program in November. His work is characterized by a deep interest in environmental processes and environmental commitment.
