We are excited to announce the results of the OFFCITY AiR 2026 open call!

Guests of the OFFCITY AiR program in December 2021 was the Italian-American Passepartout Duo – collaboration of pianist Nicoletta Favari and percussionist Christopher Salvito. 

We are trilled to announce our this year OFFCITY AiR residents.

April 17–30, 2023

The November resident of the OFFCITY AiR programme was Eszter Koncz. Eszter studied visual arts and scenography, currently she attends an international study program – Directing of Devised and Object Theater at the Prague DAMU. Eszter works in the fields of intermedia, installation and performance.

In the second half of May, OFFCITY studio was inhabited by Johana Merta. She devoted the residency time to her return to a process of painting, which she left after finishing her studies at FAVU.

The last guests of the OFFCITY AiR in 2022 was the German collective Graffitimuseum. They dedicated their time in Pardubice to the phenomenon of the local graffiti.

Final happening of OFFCITY AiR

Through this year's residency programme, we would like to support 3–5 artists or theorists. Selected residents will receive a fee of CZK 10,000, a budget up to CZK 5,000 to cover material or technical costs, a residential live-in studio in the Automatic Mills for 1–4 weeks. Deadline for applications is April 15, 2021.

Alan Affichard, a French artist based in Berlin, was the pre-holiday guest of the OFFCITY residency programme. In Pardubice, Alan devoted his time to the development of his new sound objects and to field recording.

Michal Kindernay, Czech audiovisual artist, was a guest of our OFFCITY residency program in November. His work is characterized by a deep interest in environmental processes and environmental commitment.

The October guest of the OFFCITY residency program was a photographer Tereza Bonaventurová. In her work, she has been concerned with the investigation of public space, its visual aspect and its influence on the quality of life. Her residence in Pardubice was focused on reading the public space.
